Welcome to St James’ Church

St James’ Church (Registered Charity No. 1132817) embraces a rich diversity of worship whilst maintaining its identity as part of the Church of England.  It is part of the Huntingdon and Wisbech Archdeaconry which is in the west of Ely Diocese.

Sixty percent of the congregation live in the village, the others are drawn from St Ives the nearest small town, and from many of the surrounding villages.

St James’ has a strong evangelical heritage and a commitment to giving, rather than fund raising, which has seen God’s undoubted blessing over the past 50 years.

The World’s Best Kept Secret

cbm have been meeting the needs of people with disability for 100 years.  Did you know that 10% of the world’s population is disabled in some way? Have you visited our mission partner’s website?  Our very own Allen Foster is International Director but cbm uk is just down the road and two of our congregation are trustees!
